Once activated, the survey is accessible to any internet user who has the URL of your survey. To obtain responses, you must therefore provide the respondents with your survey URL, which is automatically generated after the survey is created and activated. You can also place the survey URL on your website, where you can embed the entire survey.
On the other hand, you can also restrict access to your survey:
- You can restrict access to your survey in the settings with a single password for all respondents, specifically in the 'EDIT' - 'Settings' - 'Respondents access' - 'Access with password' tab. More >>
- You can restrict access with individual codes sent by email (or otherwise) to specific users; for this you need to use the 1KA system for sending email invitations. With individualised invitations, you can restrict respondents to a specific group and deny others access to the survey.
- You can also restrict access to registered users in the 1KA installation. For example, for a survey created on www.1KA.si, you can restrict access only to users registered on www.1KA.si.
In addition, cookie settings and limiting repeated IP addresses is also available in the 'EDIT' – 'Settings' – 'Respondent access' tab.
Some of the functionalities described are only available for users of the 2KA and 3KA packages for individuals, and for users of the business packages for groups.
